Car Phone Mounts

A phone on a lap is a distraction. A GizmoVine car phone mount puts the sat-nav where you can glance at it, and keeps the phone cool rather than baking on the dashboard.We build two fixing systems. The air-vent mount clips onto horizontal slats 11-28 mm wide with no tools, and holds a MagSafe phone with 20 N52 magnets tested to a 3 kg pull. The vacuum suction mount sticks to a windscreen or dashboard and holds 35 kg, using a vacuum cup with 22 N55 magnets on the head. Both rotate 360°, so the phone works in portrait or landscape.The magnetic heads are MagSafe-compatible and fit iPhone 12 through iPhone 17, including Plus, Pro, Pro Max and mini. Android phones and non-magnetic cases use the metal plate supplied in the box.Neither mount needs screws, adhesive residue or a permanent change to the car interior, and both fold flat when the car is parked.
