Large 1.7-inch screen and tactile controls

A 1.7-inch easy-to-read display sits above a sensitive volume knob and large buttons, so you can tune the FM frequency and level without taking your eyes off the road. The flexible neck lets you angle the screen towards the driver, and the display also shows vehicle voltage.

Crystal-clear hands-free calling

An upgraded Bluetooth chip keeps the connection efficient and free from interference, supporting one-touch hands-free answering on all smartphones with automatic Bluetooth reconnection.

3-in-1 music playback

Plays music over Bluetooth, from a TF card or through the AUX input, compatible with MP3, WMA, WAV and FLAC files. Power-off memory resumes the TF card from the same track, and AUX input gives interference-free sound in any vehicle.

QC3.0 fast charging with dual USB

Two USB ports including a QC3.0 fast-charging output raise charging efficiency by up to 80%. Over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit and over-temperature protection keep connected devices safe while you listen.

High-definition sound

Stereo frequency modulation and DSP technology cut background noise for clear, loud sound with improved volume control.

Common questions about the GizmoVine GV-FMT-K17

The questions buyers ask most before fitting a Bluetooth FM transmitter to a car that has none.

Will it work if my car has no Bluetooth at all?

Yes — that is exactly what it is for. The transmitter plugs into the 12 V socket and sends the audio to your existing car radio over FM. Your phone pairs with the transmitter rather than with the car, so no factory Bluetooth, no adaptor loom and no trip to a workshop are needed.

How do I pick an FM frequency?

Any free frequency between 87.5 and 108.0 MHz. Tune the transmitter and the car radio to the same one and leave some distance from strong local stations. A quick scan on the radio will show you which parts of the band are empty where you drive.

Can I charge a phone and play music at the same time?

Yes. Charging runs independently of the audio link, so the USB ports stay free for a phone or tablet while music is playing.

Does it handle hands-free calls?

Yes. A built-in microphone routes calls through the car speakers, and CVC noise reduction filters out background noise.

Will the sound match a wired connection?

It is close, but not identical. Quality depends mainly on how clear the frequency you choose is — picking an empty part of the band is the single biggest improvement you can make.
