Twenty-two mini pull-back cars and eight roadblocks, in a mix of colours and designs. The cars are packed at random, so two boxes are never quite identical, and the roadblocks can be arranged into a small circuit on the floor.

Each car is built with a metal body on a plastic base. That combination gives the car enough weight to roll on a straight line and enough strength to cope with being handled every day, while the rounded corners are designed to spare small fingers.

The cars use a pull-back motor. Pull one backwards across the floor, let go, and it runs forward by itself. Nothing to charge and nothing to replace, which also makes the set a practical choice for travel and for playing away from home.

At roughly 1:64 scale, the cars fit comfortably in the hand of a three-year-old and can be lined up in a pocket. The repeated pull-and-release action is a simple way for younger children to work on hand-eye coordination.

A drawstring bag keeps the set together between play sessions, so the cars can be taken to a grandparent’s house or a friend’s without being scattered along the way.

The questions that come up most often before ordering this car set.

Is a storage bag included?

Yes. A drawstring bag comes with the set so the cars can be kept together.

What age is this suitable for?

From three years upwards. The cars are 6.8 cm and have no small detachable parts.

Are the roadblocks stable on carpet?

They stand best on a hard, flat surface such as a wooden floor or a table. On thick carpet they may tip over.

A summary of the feedback buyers have left for this product on Amazon.co.uk.

This summary was compiled by GizmoVine from publicly visible customer reviews on Amazon.co.uk.
